Welcome to Wanstead! Our impressive 24-hour site in East London has the perfect opportunity for an experienced RVN who loves all things hospital and wants to join a large growing team.

About the role:
This full-time (40 hours per week) RVN position would be ideal for an experienced RVN who already has a few years under their belt and thrives in all departments within a hospital setting. You will have the opportunity to work between various departments in the hospital including theatre, ward, consults, and ECC.
Your rota will also include an average of 1:4 weekends with TOIL, up to 3 bank holidays per year, and be part of the last resort on-call rotation.
This role would suit an experienced RVN who is used to a fast-paced environment, whether that be branch or hospital, and wants to support the ever-growing nursing team with their invaluable knowledge and skills.
There is fantastic diagnostic support at Wanstead, with a new CT scanner, a commercial laboratory, a strong medical team, and experienced surgeons routinely conducting advanced orthopaedic, soft tissue, and minimally invasive surgery all available on site.
You will be working alongside and supported by a large team including a highly experienced head nurse, deputy nurses, senior nurses, plus approximately 24 vets, 27 RVNs, 14 SVNs, 7 VCAs, and a large front of house team who are integral in maintaining excellent client care.
Wanstead itself is on the outskirts of leafy Essex but has quick and direct transport links that take you straight into all areas of London! There is a bustling café and restaurant culture in Wanstead so you will never be short of places to visit for a treat.
