Job Description

At Goddard Veterinary Nursing College based in Woodford, we have an upcoming role perfect for an RVN that is looking to take a step away from on the ground day to day clinical nursing, and wants to step into a lecturing position, imparting their wisdom on our future nurses!

About the role

This role averages 36 hours per week, with 2 days at the college in Woodford, and 2.5 days from home (including an early finish every Friday).

Our Ideal candidate will hold a teaching and IQA qualification at Level 4 or above, though we would be happy to explore applicants who have a wealth of experience as a clinical supervisor in the practice environment.

You will be providing IQA support and teaching for the L2 Veterinary Care Support and L3 Veterinary Nursing Diploma courses, with some involvement delivering training across the Goddard training department supporting in house learning and development.

The role will also involve carrying out student support visits across the regions. You will be committed to providing clinical excellence and the highest quality of teaching for our students.

We have brand new purpose built “mock practice” in the college grounds, that our students have access to for training and mock practical’s. We are looking for someone with an interest in developing students clinical skills, to support our Clinical skills lead.

You will be alongside an incredibly enthusiastic and established lecturing team, and supported by a college manager who has been in the industry for years and has a wealth of experience.

The salary band for this teaching position is £28,800 to £31,500 (£32,000 to £35,000 FTE) depending on prior experience and qualifications.
