We are looking for an integral piece of our veterinary team puzzle, in the shape of a float veterinary nursing assistant supporting our various teams in the South London and Surrey region.
Our float veterinary nursing assistant role is an ideal position for someone who has extensive prior experience within the veterinary industry and may not be in the position to commit to the Diploma training right now. Being a float position you will help support the various branches within the South London and Surrey area where the needs of the rota dictate, this could be covering holiday, days off or sick leave etc.
The VNA role is 40 hours per week and includes a regular Saturday rotation. Prior animal care and client care experience is preferred due to the integral support you would be providing to the teams. If you can demonstrate a passion for teamwork, and providing the highest standard of patient and client care you will flourish.
The role is varied, involving a high level of client care which includes reception duties, the cleaning and upkeep of the practice and its equipment/facilities, general administrative duties including processing of insurance claims, and of course the hands-on patient care. This is a challenging industry and profession but hugely rewarding if you are able to give it your full passion and dedication.
If in the future you did wish to pursue with your veterinary nurse training, this would be dependent on diploma vacancies within the region, and qualification criteria.
