We collaborate closely with HR, Engineering, Finance, and IT teams. We handle global configurations for Workday functional areas including Core HCM, Compensation, Time Tracking, Absence, Payroll, Talent & Performance, and Benefits. We are seeking a Workday Systems Engineer to serve as the functional lead and SME for our global Payroll configurations in Workday. Apply now to join us! What you\’ll do… Work in an agile environment with problem-solving teams to resolve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Build or maintain functional configurations of Workday, focusing on Global Payroll: business processes, workflows, custom reports, validations, rules, and calculated fields. Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements, configure, prototype, and test solutions. Participate in sprint planning, estimate tickets, and work on prioritized tasks. Coordinate UAT and sign-offs, perform peer reviews, and follow deployment procedures. Document configurations, processes, and procedures related to Workday Payroll. Assist in resolving production issues and implementing new features released by Workday. Support cyclic projects and new payroll architectures, including third-party integrations. Work with IT, HR, Compensation, and Finance on projects related to Payroll and Workday solutions. Provide end-user support and training for Workday HCM Talent & Performance modules. Recommend strategies for efficient use of Workday functionalities. Engage in ongoing learning through Workday Community and forums. Review Workday biannual releases, assess impact, and plan implementations. Your experience should include… 8+ years of experience with HCM or Payroll applications. 5+ years of hands-on Workday configuration, especially in Payroll. Deep understanding of Workday payroll architecture, calculations, and integrations. Experience with EIBs and custom report creation. Proficiency in Workday modules and a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and project management skills. Additional preferred qualifications… Bachelor\’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field. Workday certification in Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking, or HCM modules. Experience supporting global acquisitions and setups in Workday.
