Join our team. We're seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Hosting experience team, focused on delivering exceptional experiences for Website Designers and Developers. As a frontend expert, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our customer-facing products for web hosting and AI-driven customer tooling, driving business growth, and mentoring others.
What you'll get to do:
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable, high-performance frontend applications using modern JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, React, and NodeJS.
- Lead the way in frontend architecture, ensuring seamless user experiences across our products.
- Work with multi-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions, driving business growth.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
- Stay ahead of the curve with emerging frontend technologies, advocating for their adoption.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring high-quality, maintainable code.
- Engage in DevOps, release, and on-call activities, supporting our products.
Your experience should include:
- 5+ years of professional frontend development experience.
- Strong proficiency with React (CSR & SSR), NodeJS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Proficiency in API-driven design, particularly REST.
- Experience with frontend build tools like Webpack and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of core web technologies (CSS3, HTML5), design patterns, and data structures.
- Excellent oral and written communication, team collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Experience with git and git-based workflows.
You might also have:
- Exposure to cloud-oriented development using AWS or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of high-performance design principles, including optimization for Google Web Vitals.
- Experience managing or contributing to open-source projects.
- Familiarity with multiple JavaScript tooling like Webpack, Vite, and Turbo.
