At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely. This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.
GoDaddy is seeking an Advertising Copywriter, Email and Direct Response with agency and/or in-house experience bringing unique ideas to life in down-funnel executions. You should have strong experience in email with the ability to stretch into other digital mediums. Your job is to bring GoDaddy's unique point of view to advertising that spans audiences, platforms, and countries. Your work will showcase GoDaddy's mission: to empower everyday entrepreneurs, while humanising us as a brand, providing useful insights, and delighting our audience with engaging content.
You’ll develop new ideas from scratch, punch up existing copy, provide constructive feedback, collaborate with account and product managers to deliver a variety of ads, and most importantly, champion entrepreneurs in ways that inform and entertain.

- Interpret creative briefs and translate them into strong, platform-appropriate copy across multiple digital channels and media formats.
- Collaborate with strategists and Art Directors to conceive and execute succinct, impactful campaigns and activations that achieve business objectives.
- Partner effectively with cross-functional teams including copywriters, designers, creative directors, and external agencies to deliver cohesive, effective communications.
- Communicate clearly and consistently with stakeholders across the organisation at an international level, ensuring alignment and clarity.
- Champion and embody GoDaddy's culture of integrity, productive dissent, passion, and scrappiness in all work and interactions.
Your experience should include:
- 4+ years of advertising copywriting experience with demonstrated expertise in email and direct response, along with proven ability to write effectively across multiple digital platforms and media formats.
- Excellent communicator with strong organisational and problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to clearly articulate ideas and collaborate across international teams.
- Self-starter capable of working independently with minimal supervision in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments while managing multiple priorities, implementing feedback quickly, and adapting to varying demands.
