Job Purpose
To provide high-quality, person-centred domiciliary care to clients in their own homes, with a focus on dignity, companionship, and culturally sensitive support delivered in Urdu. This role is suited to a reliable, warm, and engaging carer who values continuity and respectful care.
Key Responsibilities
- Personal Care
- Assist with personal hygiene, washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Support safe mobility and daily routines
- Domestic Support
- Light household duties including cleaning, laundry, and tidying
- Meal preparation in line with dietary and cultural preferences
- Companionship & Emotional Support
- Provide friendly, engaging companionship in Urdu
- Encourage conversation, independence, and emotional wellbeing
- Support clients to maintain daily structure and confidence
- Health & Records
- Observe and report changes in wellbeing
- Maintain accurate care notes and records
- Follow care plans and risk assessments
- Professional Practice
- Work in line with GoCarely policies, safeguarding procedures, and CQC standards
- Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct at all times

Person Specification
Essential
- Fluent spoken Urdu
- Previous experience in domiciliary or home care
- Right to work in the UK
- Caring, patient, and dependable
- Good communication skills
Desirable
- NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards)
- Experience supporting elderly clients
- UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Working Hours
Part-time hours, flexible shifts including mornings, afternoons, or early evenings. Weekend availability desirable.
