The role
As a GoCardless Salesforce Developer, you will own the integrity and strength of the solutions you recommend. Youâll be acting as a trusted advisor to our team and internal customers. You will need a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform with specific experience in CPQ, topâshot people skills to get your ideas and solutions across to stakeholders and the skills to deliver solutions and help grow experience within the team to do the same.
The Salesforce Developer will form the key foundation for a new team within GoCardless, Rapid Change Development, to expedite crossâfunctional changes across our business systems. You will be responsible for delivering meaningful changes to the business, working alongside other Salesforce Developers, Administrators, Integration Architects, Business Analysts and Business Intelligence to collaborate on specifications based on stakeholder requirements, validate the proposals, and deliver the solutions.

- Collaborating with the Commercial & Operational teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver impactful solutions across the Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud, and Data Cloud platforms.
- Enhancing system integrations by leveraging Salesforce APIs to connect with various tools and systems used within the organization, creating seamless workflows.
- Adhering to Salesforce best practices, maintaining thorough documentation, and developing robust test classes to ensure high-quality custom solutions.
- Taking ownership of release cycles, managing the deployment of new features, updates, and maintaining existing applications to improve business processes.
- Integrating and maintaining essential business applications within Salesforce, such as DocuSign, Qualtrics, ChurnZero, and marketing tools, to support the organizationâs growth.
- Contributing to the growth of knowledge and best practices within the team and across the wider business, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of quality assurance processes to ensure reliable and highâperforming solutions.
- Utilizing DevOps and quality tooling to deliver consistent, reliable enhancements, ensuring the organizationâs systems remain robust and scalable.
What excites us
- Over 3 years of Salesforce development experience, with strong expertise in Sales Cloud and CPQ products.
- In-depth knowledge of CPQ/Revenue Cloud, covering product catalog, pricing strategies, product rules, pricing rules, and approval automation.
- Experience in core Salesforce Sales Cloud configuration and implementing best practices for existing code and configurations.
- Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, Visualforce, Java, Lightning components, and Salesforce architecture.
- Skilled in business process analysis, CRM systems, and translating requirements into technical solutions.
- Experienced with large data sets, bulkification, and writing/critiquing technical specifications.
- Proven ability to supervise projects, deliver work streams independently, and present solutions to stakeholders.
Base salary range
The expected base salary range for this position is between ÂŁ73,600 - ÂŁ110,400. Base salary ranges are based on role, job level, location, and market data. Please note that whilst we strive to offer competitive compensation, our approach is to pay between the minimum and the midâpoint of the pay range until performance can be assessed in role. Offers will take into account level of experience, interview assessment, budgets and parity between you and fellow employees at GoCardless doing similar work.
