This is an exciting and unique opportunity to join GoCardless in our London office as an Engineering Manager. Lead talented and creative engineers in the Growth Group to build features and experiments to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.

Requirements:
- Full-stack engineering background - whilst this role is not hands-on, we are after someone who is familiar with full-stack technologies and practices to lead teams to build reliable, well-tested systems.
- Previous experience leading engineering teams and readiness to take on challenging teams.
- Enthusiasm about working in a strong culture of experimentation, testing and learning to help us in experimenting ways to grow our product.
- Someone excited about supporting and growing a group of engineers, helping them become the best engineers they can be.
- Collaboration and cross-functional work - we have Product Managers and Product Designers as part of our team, and work closely with BI Analysts and Growth Marketers, as well as other commercial teams across the business.
- We’re after people who aren’t afraid of a challenge and will take ownership of problems they come across, help to resolve them and adapt to a constantly changing environment.
