The Paris team is looking for hyper talented and motivated Sales people to grow our business out of our office located at the heart of Paris. The team is growing fast as GoCardless solves a key challenge for all businesses: getting paid faster. This role is a unique opportunity to participate in the massive growth we’re seeing in France and to join a rapidly expanding team.
What excites you
- Closing multi-territory, multi-year deals with large complex organisations
- Identifying a set of accounts that meet this criteria
- Developing account plans, working with stakeholders in marketing to deliver those plans and building your network within those accounts
- Selling the value of our global payments platform and then developing opportunities through negotiation and contract closure
As an Account Executive, we want to give you all of the tools and skills you need to succeed and thrive. We run frequent sales training sessions across a range of topics - from best outreach practices to negotiation skills.
What excites us
- Experience in a full-stack sales role, building pipelines and closing opportunities
- Experience in negotiating with large organisations (+100 mill revenue), managing complex deals with multiple stakeholders
- Candidates with an understanding of the MEDDIC/ MEDDPICC Sales methodologies (or similar) and experience in applying them
- A structured sales approach, experience of using Salesforce and prior experience of selling complex SaaS products and services (Selling APIs is not essential but a nice to have)
- Experience selling to CxO (CFO/ CTO ideally) and other stakeholders
- Demonstrated a high degree of analytical skills
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, a consistent track record of building positive relationships with senior stakeholders
- Team player.

Salary range - the expected base salary range for this position is between €56,320 - €84,480 (gross) per year + 100% OTE. Base salary ranges are based on role, job level, location, and market data. Please note that whilst we strive to offer competitive compensation, our approach is to pay between the minimum and the mid-point of the pay range until performance can be assessed in role. Offers will take into account level of experience, interview assessment, budgets and parity between you and fellow employees at GoCardless doing similar work.
