Role
Reporting to the Director of People Operations – Reward and People Partnering – the People Advisor supports a high‑performing, inclusive employee experience.
The role provides trusted support to employees and managers, assists People Partners, resolves global employee relations matters and promotes best practice across the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for HR queries from employees and managers, triaging and resolving where possible.
- Provide hands‑on support to senior People Partners and the People Relations Partner on performance, retention, ER and people initiatives.
- Resolve employee relations matters with care and consistency, escalating complex cases to the People Relations Partner.
- Contribute to the development of HR processes, templates and toolkits to scale People team work.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the People team to create a joined‑up, coherent employee experience, using data to support evidence‑based decision‑making.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an HR Coordinator, HR Assistant or junior HR Advisor, ideally in a fast‑paced, scaling business.
- Solid understanding of the full employee lifecycle.
- Working knowledge of UK employment law and practical application; knowledge of other jurisdictions is a plus.
- Highly organized, able to manage competing priorities and maintain accuracy.
- Clear and confident communication – written and verbal – and ability to build trust with stakeholders at all levels.
- Pragmatic, people‑focused, solutions‑oriented with a willingness to keep scalable processes while meeting business needs.
- Team player who builds strong business relationships and fosters collaboration across the People function.
- Growth mindset and curiosity to learn and develop within ER, partnering and the wider People function, leveraging AI for efficiencies.
- Salary
Base salary range: £29,600 – £44,400 (gross).
Payments are made between the minimum and mid‑point of the range until performance is assessed, with offers considering experience, interview assessment, budgets and parity.
