This role sits within the Financial Control team, who are responsible for the month-end close, preparation of financial accounts (to GL level), and play a key role in the delivery of audits. Reporting into the Finance manager, you will be an ambitious individual who is looking to develop a career in finance.
What excites you:
- Performing daily, weekly and monthly bank reconciliations for all bank accounts with appropriate supporting documentation
- Performing cash allocations. Collaborating with other teams, including AP, Billing, Tax and Payroll, ensuring a smooth end-to-end process
- Ownership of key balance sheet accounts, ensuring reconciliations are completed monthly and any variances are resolved on a timely basis
- Provide P&L variance analysis around bank charges and interest income
- Assisting with the administration of soldo cards, ensuring all expense claims are posted accurately and in a timely manner
- Assist with the annual audits in preparation and provide the requested documents
- Supporting the Finance Manager / Group Financial Controller as required
- Support ad hoc projects as and when required

Base salary range: € 19,200 - € 28,800 (gross), (including 13th and 14th salary). Base salary ranges are based on role, job level, location, and market data. Please note that whilst we strive to offer competitive compensation, our approach is to pay between the minimum and the mid-point (€ 19,200 - € 24,000) of the pay range until performance can be assessed in role. Offers will take into account level of experience, interview assessment, budgets and parity between you and fellow employees at GoCardless doing similar work.
