The Opportunity

Gobel & Partner Ltd are a leading supplier of Total Quality Management Services to the Automotive and Aerospace industries. We are currently recruiting for an Automotive Team Leader to work within our Quality Management team. Working on-site at one of our most remarkable Automotive Clients, this is a fantastic opportunity for the right person.

Reporting to the Shift Manager, the Team Leader will be responsible for leading and coaching a team of Quality Inspectors.

Shifts: Monday to Friday - 6am - 2pm, 2pm-10pm - rotating weekly.

The Team Leader will be responsible for the following:

  • Supervising the team
  • Supporting the Shift Manager with achievements and expectations
  • Supporting on the set up of customer projects
  • Communication between the team, Shift Manager and Plant Manager
  • Training & Auditing live containments
  • Ensuring accuracy and efficiency at all times

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong leadership experience within a Manufacturing/Warehouse/Automotive type environment.
  • An automotive background would be desirable but any manufacturing background would be considered as long as the individual has strong leadership skills.
  • You will be organised, resilient and have the ability to think outside the box.

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £13.75 per hour

Work Location: Newport, South Wales

Expected start date: Immediate
