Do you have strong leadership skills and a passion for the automotive industry? Gobel & Partner Ltd are a leading supplier of Total Quality Management Services to the Automotive and Aerospace industries. We are currently recruiting for a Supervisor to work within our Quality Management team. This role will be a field based role, with various travel across the UK (Mainly Midlands) to support on-site within our Automotive Clients. The Supervisor will be responsible for leading and coaching a team of Team Leaders & Quality Inspectors across designated sites. Hours typically fall over a standard day shift – 07:00am-4:00pm however cover across alternate shift patterns may be required from time to time – including a variation of early starts and late finishes. The Supervisor will be responsible for the following: Supervising the team Supporting the Business Manager with achievements and expectations Supporting on the set up of customer projects Communication between the team, Shift Manager and Plant Manager Ensuring accuracy and efficiency at all times The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience within an Manufacturing/Warehouse/Automotive type environment. An automotive background would be desirable but any manufacturing background would be considered as long as the individual has strong leadership skills. You will be organised, resilient and have the ability to think outside the box. Due to the nature of the role, you must be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle. Travel time and mileage will be paid.
