Are you a Team Leader with a passion for the automotive industry and quality? Or perhaps you are an experienced quality inspector now looking for a step up? We are currently seeking a Quality Team Leader to join our outstanding quality management team, based on-site at both of the UKs most prestigious Automotive Manufacturers. Reporting to the Shift Manager, the Team Leader will be responsible for leading and coaching a team of between 5-10 Inspectors, which can increase during peak times. You will be working on a rotating shift pattern, which rotates weekly 06:00am - 14:30pm and 15:00pm - 23:50pm. Weekend overtime is also available.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Leading and coaching a team of quality inspectors
  • Supporting the Shift Manager with achievements and expectations
  • Supporting on the set up of new projects
  • Communication between the team and Shift Manager
  • Always ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Carrying out inspection duties
  • Supporting the Shift Manager with recruitment, inductions, appraisals, and training

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

  • Proven leadership skills gained within an Automotive, Manufacturing or Engineering environment
  • Computer literate, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to resolve issues promptly, within a professional manner
  • Organized, resilient, with the ability to think outside the box

This is a permanent position with progression opportunities available. Benefits include:

  • £13.50 per hour DOE (After 10pm its time and a quarter)
  • Possible weekend overtime starting from 25%+
