About the Role:
As a Support Worker, you will provide essential support to individuals in both their Younger & Older Adults Units within our clients care home. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
- Supporting with meals and monitoring liquid intake
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Promoting independence and well-being
- Observing & monitoring the resident’s general wellbeing, reporting & co-ordinating with other staff members.
What We’re Looking For:
- A caring, compassionate, and reliable attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous care experience (essential)
- Right to work in the UK
- Ideally working towards or hold an SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care
- An Understanding of National Care Standards and Codes of Conducts
- Ability to always maintain confidentiality
- SSSC Registration or willingness to register within the specified timescale.
