About the role
As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you’ll deliver warm, person-centred care, support care planning, and help keep day-to-day standards safe, effective and consistently high. You’ll also step up for others; supervising colleagues, coordinating tasks and making sure outcomes stay strong, every shift.
Key responsibilities
- Assess residents’ needs and help shape personalised care
- Deliver, review and maintain care programmes in line with best practice
- Administer medication according to policy and procedure
- Provide leadership by supporting, guiding and supervising care staff
- Maintain accurate records and uphold compliance
What we’re looking for
- SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
- Current SSSC registration
- PDA in Medication and/or Supervision (or equivalent)
- Experience in a Senior Care/Senior Healthcare Assistant role
- Strong communication and organisational skills
