Job Overview

We are seeking a caring and dedicated individual to join our client\’s care team, supporting service users in the community to live an independent life in and around North Lanarkshire.

No previous experience is necessary, but a passion for care and the desire to enhance service users\’ experiences is essential. You must be flexible and adaptable in your approach.

A fully funded company car with fuel and insurance will be provided to support you in your role. A valid, full UK driving license is required.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support service users in all aspects of personal care
  • Support service users with medication where required
  • Assist service users to meet their nutritional needs
  • Carry out light house duties
  • Assist service users with finances as per company policy
  • Ensure service users have access to healthcare, if required
  • Utilize all communication methods to listen and talk to service users, promoting their wellbeing
  • Encourage relationships between service users, family, friends, and the wider community
  • Be mindful of equality and diversity, behaving in a culturally sensitive manner
  • Be aware of adult protection issues and report accordingly
  • Report service users\’ progress on the correct platforms
