We are actively hiring dedicated and compassionate Care Assistants for our Clients Care Team in Castlemilk. As a Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by providing personal and practical support. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing and medication management. You will also provide companionship, emotional support, and encouragement to help clients enjoy their daily routines.
Ideal candidates will possess:
- A genuine passion for caring for others and a commitment to providing high-quality support.
- Experience of delivering person-centred care to residents within a Care Home setting.
- Experience in a care environment is preferred, although we welcome applicants with a strong desire to learn and grow in the field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents and their families.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
Requirements:
- Ideally working towards or hold an SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
- An understanding of National Care Standards and Codes of Conduct.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Have a passion to deliver high levels of care at all times.
- SSSC Registration or willingness to register within the specified timescale.
