Goat Interactive is the online division of the Editec Group. The objective of Goat Interactive is to use our vast knowledge of Africa, combined with digital excellence, to ensure that all of our brands occupy the podium positions in the countries we operate in. With a growing presence in 18 countries, Goat represents the largest group of gaming brands on the continent.
The SEO Manager role will play a pivotal part in the new customer growth of all our brands. With strong knowledge of SEO methodologies, ranking strategies, technical understanding, and a passion to stay on top of trends in SEO, the ideal candidate is data driven, a clear communicator who can translate data into insight seamlessly.
What you’ll be doing day to day:
- Applying best‑in‑class SEO practices to all our websites to achieve organic acquisition objectives.
- Work with the Department Head to develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies per country to improve site performance and organic search rankings.
- Conduct in-depth technical audits of websites, identifying issues such as crawlability, indexation, site structure, and Core Web Vitals, and implement solutions.
- Work closely with developers to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into website architecture, platform migrations, and new site builds.
- Collaborate with the content team to optimise on‑page elements, including metadata, internal linking, and keyword targeting.
- Analysing, sourcing and checking links for our link building strategy.
- Keyword research, search intent modelling and keyword mapping to achieve high rankings.
- Stay updated with the latest Google algorithm updates, technical SEO trends, and industry best practices.
What your background looks like:
- 3+ years’ experience in an SEO role.
- Ideally having worked in online gambling before.
- Well‑rounded in all pillars of SEO including technical, content, and off‑site link acquisition.
- Experience with the typical SEO toolset (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics / Google Search Console, or similar).
- Experience or a desire to innovate and elevate SEO and the wider organic earned and owned product offering including integrated search.
- Organisational commitment and performance excellence skills.
- Good public relations/relationship building, management report writing, and communication skills.
- A strategic thinker with strong analytical, visionary, and problem‑solving skills.
- French speaking would be advantageous but not a must.
We operate with a hybrid working model of 3 days per week at our office on Fenchurch Street, and 2 days working from home. Please ensure this works for you before applying!
