As we continue our growth trajectory, we are seeking an experienced Senior Paid Media Manager to lead performance marketing acquisition across our sportsbook and casino brands. This role will be responsible for managing significant media budgets, driving profitable customer acquisition, and delivering scalable growth across multiple markets.
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a hands-on performance marketing specialist with proven experience within the iGaming industry, specifically sportsbook and/or casino acquisition. The successful candidate will have extensive PPC expertise, experience managing substantial paid media budgets, and a track record of delivering profitable growth through data-driven optimization. You will own the paid acquisition strategy across multiple markets, managing campaigns across Google, Meta, programmatic, DSPs and ad networks while working closely with country marketing teams and senior stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the paid user acquisition strategy across sportsbook and casino products in multiple markets.
- Plan, execute and optimise paid media campaigns across PPC, Paid Social, Display, Programmatic and Ad Networks.
- Take ownership of media budget allocation, pacing, forecasting and performance.
- Manage significant monthly acquisition budgets while achieving agreed CPA, ROAS and revenue targets.
- Lead PPC strategy and execution across Google Ads, including Search and Performance Max.
- Identify growth opportunities through testing, audience expansion, bidding strategies and creative optimisation.
- Analyse campaign performance and provide actionable recommendations to drive efficiency and scale.
- Produce regular reporting on acquisition, revenue and profitability metrics.
- Manage relationships with media partners, publishers, DSPs and affiliate traffic sources where applicable.
- Stay current with industry trends, platform changes and emerging acquisition channels.
- Line manage a paid media manager, with scope to expand team.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years' experience managing paid acquisition campaigns within an online sportsbook and/or casino operator.
- Demonstrable experience acquiring depositing customers within regulated or emerging gaming markets.
- Strong understanding of sportsbook and casino customer acquisition funnels, player value, retention metrics and profitability drivers.
- Experience working with tracking platforms, attribution tools and gaming-specific KPIs.
- Proven experience managing large-scale PPC accounts and optimising towards acquisition and revenue targets.
- Strong understanding of bidding strategies, keyword management, audience targeting and conversion tracking.
- Proven experience owning and managing monthly paid media budgets exceeding €100,000+ per month.
- Experience forecasting spend, pacing budgets and reallocating investment based on performance.
- Strong commercial mindset with a clear understanding of acquisition economics and profitability.
- Demonstrated ability to scale budgets while maintaining efficiency targets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
