This role is primarily a Team Member position, with additional Shift Supervisor responsibilities undertaken when management cover is required.
Overview Of Main Duties And Responsibilities
The post holder will be responsible for carrying out Team Member duties as their core role, supporting the day-to-day operation of the Club across reception and bar functions.
In addition, the post holder will be required to step into the Shift Supervisor role on an ad-hoc basis, providing senior cover in the absence of a Manager and ensuring operational standards are maintained.
This is not a full-time supervisory role. Shift Supervisor duties will only be carried out when required and agreed.
Team Member Duties (Primary Responsibilities)
You will be responsible for delivering a high standard of customer service across the Club, including:
- Providing a professional and welcoming front-of-house service
- Managing bookings, enquiries, and payments accurately
- Handling face-to-face and telephone sales
- Operating tills and booking systems confidently
- Working efficiently in a busy bar environment
- Delivering high standards of service, cleanliness, and presentation
- Building rapport with customers to encourage repeat visits and increased spend
- Handling cash and card transactions responsibly
- Supporting promotions and Club initiatives
As part of our service requirements, you will be expected to work shifts that include evenings and weekends. As bar duties form part of this role, applicants must be

- Shift Supervisor Duties (Additional Responsibility)
- When Providing Management Cover, You Will
- Act as the senior person on duty in the absence of a Manager
- Ensure service, safety, and operational standards are maintained
- Supervise and support Team Members on shift
- Deal with escalated customer issues appropriately
- Carry out opening and closing procedures when required
- Complete basic administrative and cash-handling tasks
- Communicate effectively with the Management Team regarding any issues arising during the shift
Skills And Requirements
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good organisational and administration skills
- Computer literate, including basic Word and Excel
- Experience of cash handling and customer transactions
- Ability to lead by example when acting in a senior capacity
