We are seeking a motivated and skilled Marketing Partner to support the National Marketing Manager on a fixed-term maternity cover contract. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced marketing team and develop yourself and Goals, bringing new ideas and implementing them with a hands-on approach.
Key Responsibilities- Social Media & Content Marketing
- Maximise the Goals brand across social media platforms, ensuring a consistent and engaging presence.
- Assist in developing and executing a defined social media strategy across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X (Twitter), YouTube and LinkedIn.
- Create and schedule high-quality content using tools such as Canva and Meta Business Suite.
- Collaborate with influencers, freelancers, and agencies to develop engaging content.
- Monitor and analyse performance metrics, producing weekly reports highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
- Provide support to individual clubs to enhance their localised social media presence.
- Campaign & Content Calendar Management
- Contribute to and maintain the overarching marketing content calendar.
- Write and edit compelling copy for websites, blogs, news updates, and email campaigns, ensuring consistency in brand tone of voice.
- Schedule content and manage engagement across platforms using social media scheduling tools.
- Assist with SMS, push and email marketing campaigns, ensuring effective messaging and compliance with GDPR.
- Marketing Support for Clubs
- Manage and fulfil creative requests from clubs, ensuring brand alignment using Monday.com to liaise with managers at each location.
- Liaise with external agencies to produce high-quality marketing materials.
- Support the creation of promotional materials, including flyers, posters, social media ads, videos, and print assets.
- Write copy for local digital advertisements to support club promotions.
- Trend Monitoring & Industry Research
- Keep up to date with marketing trends, particularly within the football, fitness, and leisure sectors.
- Monitor competitor activity and industry best practices to refine marketing strategies.
- Identify and capitalise on trending topics relevant to the Goals brand, increasing engagement and interaction.
- Campaign & General Marketing Support
- Support the National Marketing Manager with the execution of multi-channel campaigns.
- Provide hands-on assistance with campaign planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Assist with ad hoc marketing projects as required.
- Previous experience in marketing, ideally within the sports, leisure, hospitality sectors or a Graduate from a marketing related field.
- Strong copywriting and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Experience using Canva or similar graphic design tools.
- Proficiency in Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and prioritise effectively.
- Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of GDPR compliance in digital marketing.
- Ability to analyse social media performance metrics and report insights.
- Basic understanding of SEO, PPC, Google Analytics, and Google Ads.
- Experience with WordPress or similar content management systems.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms like Klaviyo or similar.
- Knowledge of Meta Ads Manager.
- Experience working with influencers and content creators.
