At Goaco we deliver complex digital, data, cyber and AI transformation programmes across government and regulated sectors. We are looking for a strong Delivery Manager who can operate strategically with stakeholders, while also being willing to roll up their sleeves and get involved in delivery execution when needed. This is not a “status reporting only” role. We need someone who is comfortable driving delivery outcomes, unblocking teams, improving ways of working, and stepping into the detail where required to ensure successful outcomes for our customers.
The Role
- You will lead and coordinate multiple workstreams across complex programmes, ensuring delivery remains aligned to customer objectives, timelines, budgets and quality expectations.
- Alongside programme leadership, you will actively support delivery teams where required — whether that is helping shape plans, facilitating workshops, supporting governance, improving processes, managing risks, or helping teams regain momentum during critical phases of delivery.
- You will work closely with delivery managers, technical leads, architects, QA, product teams and senior stakeholders across both Goaco and client organisations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end programme delivery across multiple concurrent projects and workstreams.
- Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders and internal teams.
- Drive programme governance, reporting, RAID management and delivery oversight.
- Coordinate dependencies across technical, operational and business teams.
- Support delivery teams hands-on during critical delivery phases.
- Facilitate workshops, planning sessions, steering groups and programme reviews.
- Identify delivery risks early and drive mitigation plans.
- Help establish scalable delivery structures, processes and ways of working.
- Ensure alignment between commercial objectives and successful customer outcomes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement across Goaco delivery practices.
What we are looking for
- Proven experience delivering complex programmes in digital, technology or transformation environments.
- Strong stakeholder management experience across senior business and technical audiences.
- Comfortable operating in both strategic and hands-on delivery capacities.
- Experience working within Agile, hybrid or scaled delivery environments.
- Ability to bring structure to fast-moving or evolving programmes.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Experience within government, regulated sectors or enterprise delivery environments is highly desirable.
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to solve problems and support teams directly.
