ROLE OBJECTIVE
As a Digital Delivery Manager, you will be working with senior delivery managers, ensuring the seamless delivery of projects within the public sector, adhering to the Government Digital Service (GDS) service manual. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic team delivering high-impact solutions that meet the highest standards of government service. You may be required to travel to client sites.
- Lead and support high-performing, cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of motivation, collaboration, and continuous improvement to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality outcomes.
- Proactively identify and resolve delivery blockers, maintaining momentum and alignment to project goals. Own and manage the RAID log to track risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies.
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of projects in alignment with the Government Digital Service (GDS) Service Standard. Champion GDS-aligned practices across discovery, alpha, beta, and live phases.
- Apply Agile and Lean methodologies to optimise project delivery, providing hands-on support with the implementation of the most suitable frameworks, tools, and techniques for each context.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, managing expectations effectively through transparent communication, regular engagement, and timely reporting across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Play a key role in the preparation, coordination, and submission of bids and tenders. Collaborate with commercial, technical, and delivery teams to develop compelling proposals that meet client requirements and align with strategic objectives.
- Ensure all bid and tender responses reflect a clear understanding of client needs, showcase delivery capabilities, and highlight value propositions, while adhering to timelines and compliance standards.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Must have a minimum of 4 years project/delivery manager experience within the IT sector.
- Successful track record working within a technology consultancy.
- Experience working with the Government Digital Service (GDS) service manual.
- Proven track record in delivering digital and cyber security services.
- Agile knowledge, with experience tailoring processes to meet required standards.
- The ability to collaborate effectively with service designers, user researchers, and developers.
- Strong background in stakeholder management.
