We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Pre-Sales Consultant to join our client's growing technical team. This role will focus on supporting customers with network security, infrastructure, and modern workplace solutions across enterprise and managed service environments. The successful candidate will work closely with sales, engineering, and delivery teams to design and position technical solutions that align with customer requirements and business objectives. You’ll play a key role in customer meetings, solution design, technical workshops, presentations, and bid responses.
This role would suit someone coming from an MSP or Cisco Partner background with strong experience across enterprise networking and network security technologies.
Key Responsibilities- Work alongside account managers and business development teams to support customer opportunities
- Design and position secure network and infrastructure solutions for enterprise customers
- Deliver technical presentations, workshops, demonstrations, and solution discussions
- Provide pre-sales support across networking, security, cloud, and managed service opportunities
- Produce high-level and low-level solution designs where required
- Support RFPs, tenders, proposals, and technical documentation
- Act as a trusted technical advisor for customers and internal stakeholders
- Work closely with delivery and engineering teams to ensure smooth project handovers
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, cyber security trends, and vendor solutions
- Travel to customer sites and offices when required
- Experience with some or all of the following technologies is highly desirable:
- Zero Trust & Identity Security
- Network Access Control (NAC)
- ThousandEyes
- AppDynamics
- Enterprise Routing & Switching
- Secure Access & Cloud Security Solutions
- Previous experience working within an MSP or Cisco Partner environment
- Strong network security and enterprise networking experience
- CCNP certification minimum
- Experience supporting enterprise or managed service customers
- Strong understanding of security best practices and modern network architecture
- Confident engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to translate technical solutions into business value
- Self-motivated and comfortable working across multiple customer engagements
- A customer-focused and commercially aware technical professional
- Someone passionate about networking, security, and emerging technologies
- Strong problem-solving and solution design capability
- Team player with excellent stakeholder engagement skills
- Flexible and willing to travel when required
