Description: Monday - Friday - 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays Are you an experienced warehouse, stores or logistics professional looking for your next step?
We're looking for an Warehouse Lead to join our growing Telecoms team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on, keeping things organised and taking responsibility for stock, equipment and depot operations.
What will you be doing?
You'll be responsible for keeping our depots, stock and logistics running smoothly.
Your day-to-day work will include
- Managing stock levels and making sure materials are available when needed
- Receiving, checking and issuing equipment and materials
- Carrying out regular stock checks and audits
- Investigating and highlighting stock discrepancies or risks
- Keeping stock records accurate and up to date
- Supporting and training colleagues on stock and depot processes
- Visiting subcontractor sites to complete stock checks
- Helping maintain clean, organised and safe depot environments
- Making sure health & safety requirements are followed
- Working with different teams across the region to solve problems and keep operations moving
- Using a forklift or other plant equipment where required
- Travelling between our regional sites during the working week You'll have plenty of independence in the role, so we're looking for someone who can see what needs doing and get on with it.
What we're looking for You don't need to have worked in telecoms before.
You'll ideally have
- Previous experience working in a warehouse, stores or logistics environment
- Forklift or similar plant experience/training
- A good understanding of workplace health & safety
- Good IT skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams
- Strong organisational skills
- Good communication skills
- A full UK driving licence
- The flexibility to travel between sites and occasionally stay away when required What makes this role different?
