With consistent growth, our client has created an exciting opportunity for a CAD Designer to join their growing design team based in Manchester.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Generating detailed 2D/3D general arrangement and fabrication drawings from quotations using the company’s build specification and components data sheets.
- Creating detailed raw material and parts list using Microsoft Excel.
- Ensuring project traceability is maintained via drawing registers, customer approval records and parts/servicing list.
- Working on multiple projects at one time.
- Working closely with suppliers and fabricators.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Experience of design in a similar industry or structural engineering.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D/3D (Primary software).
- Knowledge of design, engineering and AutoCAD standards.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel.
- Clean driving licence (some points acceptable).
- Hands-on experience and knowledge of manufacture process is an advantage.
