Due to ongoing expansion and growth we are looking to recruit somebody to support the Plant Hire Desk. The department is responsible for processing all plant related requests sent in to the Plant Desk in a fast paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Working as part of the team to support the day-to-day operation of the Plant Hire Department.
- Sourcing and raising orders for all plant requests coming into the plant desk.
- Complete all administration tasks as required.
- Liaising with suppliers and internal contacts to resolve queries.
- Uploading delivery, exchange and collection notes onto the order system.
- To ensure our asset management system is updated with all supplier information and the costs are correct.
- Action breakdowns within the timeframes of the SLA’s set out to minimize downtime and manage the contract’s expectations.
- Processing supplier live hires within excel to ensure system accuracy.
Experience and Qualifications
- The successful candidate will be ambitious, willing to learn and keen to work with the company in a busy Plant department.
- Previous plant hire / hire desk experience is essential.
- Knowledge of the Utilities industry is desired but not essential.
- Strong IT Skills (Outlook / Word / Excel) is essential.
- Interest in plant hire.
- Confident phone manner to liaise with internal and external personnel at all levels.
