The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
As a non-core Team, you will be working on the United Utilities non-core contract. Working to meet the needs of the client in the most cost-effective manner, whilst working with your team. You will provide technical expertise, experience, and work within a team to deliver a first-class service to our customers.
You will be competent in working on Water Networks. You will be able to engineer solutions on site and focus skills on completing work right first time. You will need experience of Mains laying, PMV installations, Butt fusion/Electro fusion. Digger ticket for 10T and above, dumper driver qualifications. Experience of deep excavation would be advantageous.
You will provide support to ensure that the company’s work is effectively completed through communication with internal and external customers, as well as the management of the business and client database systems.
Key Responsibilities:- You will have good knowledge of site safety and site set ups with the public and team members welfare being essential.
- You will have knowledge and experience of Mains Laying i.e. slip lining, pipe bursting and installing PMV's.
- You will maintain a customer focus.
- You will have good timekeeping and good housekeeping with tools and equipment.
- You will use NWP Modular plus system (smartphone system) to deliver all feedback for commercial and, where necessary, reinstatement feedback.
- You will liaise with the Support Services and Street works Team to ensure that FPN and Section74 liabilities are managed and focus on a right first-time attitude.
- Relevant qualifications in relation to the work being carried out i.e., NRWSA.
- Firm understanding of “right first time”.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Shea Water EUSR Blue Card.
- Avoidance of underground utilities.
- Temporary Works Supervisor.
- SSSTS.
- Butt Fusion Welding.
- CAT and Genny training.
- First Aid.
- HSG 47 and Safe Dig Training and Competence.
