HSEQ Advisor

Description
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with CDM 2015, including support of CPPs, Permits to Dig, Temporary Works and internal procedures.
- Ensure that safety and compliance standards are maintained, and any issues are addressed immediately
- Promote & monitor compliance with Safe Systems of Work (SSOW), RAMS and Toolbox Talks
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure robust closure of non-conformances
- Support high-quality incident reporting and investigation processes.
- Monitor and ensure actions from internal, external and client reviews are resolved in a timely manner.
- Work with the wider operational team to maintain strong relationships, improve processes, reduce risks & embed best practice
- Compile monthly reports on site safety trends, inspection findings, and proactive interventions.
- Support the business with delivering the HSEQ strategy
- Evolve with the business and be willing to learn more about the products and services we deliver
Experience and Qualifications
- NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or equivalent)
- Full UK driving licence
- Knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015, including practical application of pre-construction information and CPPs.
- Experience of influencing behaviours and challenging unsafe practices
- Temporary Works Coordinator or Supervisor (TWC/TWS)
- Confined Space Entry or Management awareness
- Experience in utilities, civils or construction, ideally involving deep excavations and temporary works
