As a R&M Operative/Team, you will be working on the Severn Trent Water Repair and Maintenance contract. Working to meet the needs of the client in the most cost-effective manner, whilst working with your team. You will provide technical expertise, experience, and work within a team to deliver a first-class service to our customers. You will be competent on working in Water Networks. You will be able to engineer solutions on site and focus your teams on completing work right first time. You will provide support to ensure that the company’s work is effectively completed through communication with internal and external customers, as well as the management of the business and client database systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Have good knowledge of site safety and site set ups with the public and team members welfare being essential
  • Have knowledge and experience of Repair and Maintenance contracts
  • Maintain a customer focus
  • Use GARD (smartphone system) to deliver all feedback for commercial and, where necessary, reinstatement feedback
  • Liaise with the Support Services and Street works Team to ensure that FPN and Section74 liabilities are managed and focus on a right first-time attitude

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • Relevant qualifications in relation to the work being carried out, i.e. NRWSA at supervisory level
  • Good Health and safety knowledge
  • IOSH beneficial (not essential)
  • Firm understanding of “right first time”
  • Shea Water EUSR Blue Card
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence
