The predicted salary is between 34000 - 41000 £ per year.

The role will be based in the Northwest of England as part of the SPENW vegetation management contract. As a Utility Arboriculture Field Manager, you will be responsible for the operational performance of the contract; delivering the work safely, on time, in budget and to our client’s expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will ensure all work within the contract under your control are carried out in full compliance with health, safety, welfare and environmental regulations, while working to maximize the profitability of the contract and ensuring satisfaction of contractual requirements.
  • Heading up compliance with the client’s authorisation requirements and specifications, with the company standards of service and quality systems.
  • Documentation control while working closely with the back‑office support team.
  • On site lead for pre‑vetting, consenting and planning to ensure works are completed within outage windows with the correct resources.
  • Ensuring that the health and safety competence of sub‑contract organisation and direct labour are assessed prior to commencing work.
  • You will manage and motivate a team, delegating where appropriate, but leading by example.
  • Forward facing, professional and be a brand ambassador for the Company.
  • Delivering team briefings with all on a monthly basis and ensure two-way feedback.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Experience of working in Utilities
  • Utility Arb units UA1, 2.1 UA5
  • LANTRA Professional Tree Inspector
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Good management skills
  • Financial and commercial awareness
  • Good Computer Skills – emails, Word, Excel etc.
  • Clean Driving Licence
  • DNO experience
