We’re looking for full time and part time reliable, friendly and conscientious individuals to support our water mains replacement programme by hand‑delivering important notification letters to households and businesses ahead of work starting in their community. The work areas will be in Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Lancashire. This is a customer facing role and an important step in providing our customers with a continued positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure letters are delivered securely and to the correct properties
- Engage politely and professionally within local communities
- Report access issues or concerns back to the central team
- Drive and use a company van safely and responsibly
- Understanding of GDPR and data protection requirements, with the ability to handle sensitive information appropriately.
Experience and Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence
- Confident using a smart phone for routes and reporting via an app
- Comfortable working independently
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Able to communicate clearly and politely with members of the public
Desirable (but not essential)
- Previous delivery, postal, courier or field‑based work
- Customer service or public facing experience
