To provide management of works to ensure that they are delivered safely to budget and in line with the customers’ expectations, and other delegated business functions as required by the Directors. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to undertake a crucial role within our fast-growing & progressive business. This is a rewarding and progressive role suited to an energised and motivated individual.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all Littlewood Group activities on site are managed safely and the wellbeing of our staff are central to everything we do.
- Manage Littlewood Group activities from being won by the estimators through procurement, on site delivery and work with the commercial team to final account.
- Assist Senior Contracts Manager to ensure works are executed safely, to budget, on time and in line with all the Stakeholders' expectations.
- Attend client meetings as required throughout the duration of the contract.
- Ensure that all works are delivered to industry-leading Health and Safety standards.
- Ensure that all task briefing/Daily Briefing documents are produced on time and in presentable format.
- Ensure that all daily reporting documents are completed with the necessary detail, reviewed, actioned as required and filed.
- Following review of daily reporting sheets; using the company’s templates to produce Early Warnings detailing the event and any relevant consequences of the event.
- Place any purchase orders as required.
- Check delivery notes and approve invoices using the company’s intranet-based approval system.
- Ensure that all necessary inspection sheets are completed as works progress and that these are retained, filed and submitted to the Clients on completion.
- Ensure that all accidents and near misses are reported and investigated as required.
- Prepare and submit any necessary progress reports (weekly/monthly).
- Take accurate measurements of completed works.
- Carry out site visits as required during preparation of quotations.
- Collate the information to ensure that all necessary Labour/Environmental/Employment etc. details are obtained and submitted to the Client on a weekly basis using either Clients and Littlewood Link Portal (if required).
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with staff, Clients, and suppliers.
Experience and Qualifications Necessary
- Minimum 5 GCSE’s grades A-C, including English and Maths.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Possess strong communication skills, written and verbal.
- Possess good IT skills.
- Driven and motivated to succeed, happy working to targets.

- Team orientated, however capable of working autonomously in a busy office environment.
