Go2Resource is recruiting a Sales Development Representative for a Cisco partner. We’re looking for someone with sales experience within an IT reseller, MSP, technology vendor or similar business, who enjoys opening doors and creating new opportunities.
You’ll help businesses explore solutions across networking, cybersecurity, cloud and managed IT services, working closely with the wider sales team to build a qualified pipeline.
The role
- Identify target businesses and engage key decision-makers through phone, email and LinkedIn.
- Understand customer challenges and identify relevant opportunities.
- Book qualified meetings for Account Managers and Business Development Managers.
- Follow up on marketing activity and inbound enquiries.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and deliver against agreed targets.
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience selling technology products or services, ideally in a current SDR, BDR, inside sales or new business role.
- A working understanding of IT solutions such as networking, cybersecurity, cloud, connectivity or managed services.
- Confidence speaking with IT managers and business decision-makers.
- Strong prospecting, communication and follow-up skills.
- A proactive approach and a track record of generating opportunities or achieving sales targets.
Cisco experience would be an advantage, but experience selling other technology solutions is equally relevant. You’ll need an existing foundation in technology sales to be considered.
