It’s a fast-paced role where precision is essential - from meticulous picking and packing to managing inventory and global shipments. If you take pride in attention to detail and want to help us make branded merchandise effortless and borderless, get in touch!
What You'll Be Doing
- Picking & Packing: Selecting stock for orders with 100% accuracy. You will pack items with an eye for detail, ensuring our sustainable packaging is used efficiently and gifts are presented beautifully.
- Goods In/Out: Unloading delivery vehicles and inspecting incoming premium merchandise for damage. You'll also be responsible for loading completed orders onto cages or pallets for global dispatch.
- Inventory & Stock Management: Maintaining a "borderless" warehouse by putting stock into correct locations, conducting stock rotation, and performing regular inventory counts to ensure 100% accuracy.
- MHE Operation: Safely operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, or forklifts to move goods throughout the facility.
- Housekeeping & Safety: Keeping the hub ship-shape. You’ll maintain a clean, safe work environment, strictly adhering to health and safety regulations and proactively reporting hazards.
- Quality Assurance: Acting as the final line of defense. You’ll spot‑check merchandise to ensure it meets Go Swag’s high‑quality standards before it reaches the customer.
- Shipping Coordination: Work with operations to arrange for timely dispatch and delivery of gifts.
- Team Support: Assist colleagues with various tasks as needed, including helping with gift customisation or special requests.
- Customer Returns Processing: Handle any returns or exchanges, ensuring that the returned items are inspected and processed efficiently.
What We're Looking For
- Detail‑obsessed: You understand that the little things matter and can spot issues others might miss - from a crooked label to a damaged box.
- Reliable and proactive: You take pride in your work, use your initiative, and don’t need to be told when something needs tidying or organising.
- Practical and hands‑on: You’re comfortable on your feet, moving stock, lifting heavy items, and handling the physical demands of a busy warehouse.
- Organised and efficient: You have strong organisational and time‑management skills and can keep pace in a fast‑moving environment.
- Team‑focused: You enjoy working collaboratively, bring a positive attitude, and are happy to muck in to meet dispatch deadlines.
- Experienced (preferred): Previous experience as a warehouse operative or in a similar role is advantageous.
