We are seeking a reliable, proactive and highly organised On‑Site Co‑ordinator to represent our organisation during a summer camp programme in Devon, UK. The successful candidate will act as the main operational point of contact on‑site, supporting the day‑to‑day co‑ordination of camp activities, facilitating communication, and ensuring the smooth running of daily operations throughout the programme. This role would suit someone with excellent interpersonal skills, strong problem‑solving ability, and experience working within educational, youth, hospitality, travel or international programme environments.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary on‑site representative of the organisation during the summer camp programme
- Support and co‑ordinate daily operational activities and schedules
- Ensure clear and effective communication between all parties involved
- Resolve day‑to‑day operational issues promptly and professionally
- Assist with participant welfare, logistics, arrivals/departures and general co‑ordination
- Monitor on‑site activities and elevate issues where necessary
- Maintain a professional and positive presence throughout the programme
- Support emergency procedures and safeguarding protocols where required
- Provide regular updates and reports to management
Qualifications Required:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and co‑ordination abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Calm, professional and solution‑oriented under pressure
- Right to work in the UK
- Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS (e‑DBS) check prior to employment

Working Schedule:
This role requires flexibility and an on‑site presence throughout the programme period. Working hours may occasionally be organised in split shifts depending on operational needs and camp activities. Evening and weekend work may be required. All working arrangements will comply with UK Working Time Regulations, including appropriate rest periods and days off.
Safeguarding & Compliance:
The successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check prior to the start of employment. The role involves working within a youth and educational environment, and the candidate must demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding, student welfare and professional conduct at all times. Previous safeguarding training is desirable.
