We are currently recruiting for an On Bus Electrical Systems/CCTV Engineer (Night Work) based in the Southampton area to cover Wiltshire, Hampshire & Dorset. The role mainly involves post installation maintenance, but some installation work may be required; therefore, an understanding of cabling and cabling schematic diagrams is required.

On bus electrical systems include CCTV, ticket machines, Tap on/Tap Off, next stop announcements, vehicle telematics and destination boards, as well as building CCTV. The hours of work will consist of 40 hours per week, starting early afternoon until midnight. Days of work can be discussed at the interview.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience in automotive electrical systems/CCTV installation and maintenance. Consideration will be given to candidates who have two years of building CCTV and security systems installation and maintenance and possess their own tools.

Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have their own tools to enable them to work effectively, although the company will supply some specialist tools. Salary is £37,000+ dependent on experience.

Package also includes the use of a company van for business use between depots, specialist tools/equipment, laptop, mobile phone, pension, bus pass and employee benefits package including wellbeing packages.
