Automotive Repair Systems Ltd and sister company, Go Smart Repair Ltd, together become one of the largest Mobile SMART Repair companies in the UK with a growing workforce of over 150 mobile paint and wheel repair technicians. Due to our structured expansion programme we are now hiring additional mobile paint and wheel repair technicians.
The successful technician will provide paint and wheel S.M.A.R.T repair services to Go Smart Repair's Insurance customers. The role will offer excellent earning potential. The successful candidate(s) will possess a full valid UK driving licence, be physically fit, well presented, friendly, customer focussed and most importantly work to a high standard!
Job Details:
- Monday – Friday
- £40,000 – 45,000 Basic Salary (Depending on experience) + Commission Scheme
- 08:00 – 17:30
- Company van, tablet, phone, uniform and equipment provided
- Training / up skilling available
Duties:
A successful candidate will be responsible for completing mobile smart repairs at customers' home locations. You will complete SMART repairs on a variety of vehicles every day making sure they are finished to high company standards. Every day you will be attending new repair jobs in new locations, so no two days will be the same!
Repairs on vehicles will include:
- Minor scuffs and scratches
- Bumper scuffs
- Paint blemishes
- Stone chips
- Small dents
- SMART repairs on alloy wheels
Experience:
- Full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 6 months
- Ideally, a Min 3 - 4 years automotive paint experience (Preferably ATA/IMI/QAA and working to PAS 125 formats)
- Has worked in customer facing roles previously
- Preferably good knowledge of filler application
- Preferably good knowledge and use of pin or glue pulling equipment
- Able to paint a min of 2 vertical panels and blend
Requirements:
- Has great attention to detail
- Basic Maths and English required
- Prepared to travel on a daily basis
- Able to be flexible with hours as our customers require
- Good time keeper
- Right to work in the UK
