Role Overview: As a Store Colleague, you will help customers feel welcomed, supported and ready for their next adventure by maintaining a clean, organised shop floor and delivering excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers with confidence and energy, offering friendly support and helping them find the right products.
- Use in‑store systems to check stock, share product options and support the full customer journey.
- Keep the shop floor clean, organised and fully replenished, ensuring displays stay fresh and aligned with GO Outdoors standards.
- Support day‑to‑day store tasks, including till duties, restocking and following all safety and store guidelines.
Skills & Experience Required:
- A positive, enthusiastic approach suited to a fast‑paced, customer‑focused retail environment.
- Strong communication skills, confident engaging customers and working as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn, take on new tasks and develop skills in a supportive store environment.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, evenings and busy seasonal periods.
- A genuine passion for the outdoors and GO Outdoors product range.
- Proactive attitude, with confidence in approaching customers and supporting sales opportunities.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring the shop floor is always well-presented and customer-ready.
- Self‑motivated, with a desire to learn, improve and progress within the business.
