Role Overview

Location: Bury

Responsible to: Brand Marketing Lead

Department: Marketing (Outdoor)

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of marketing plans for clothing and footwear partner brands.
  • Plan and create engaging, relevant, and commercially minded content for JD Outdoor channels.
  • Assist in developing the JD Outdoor content strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Brand & Content Marketing Manager to deliver partner brand marketing plans.
  • Contribute to content calendars that align with campaign planning (season campaigns, product launches, etc.).
  • Work with the in-house videographer and social team to produce video content supporting the content strategy and partner brand plans.
  • Plan and attend shoots to create video content for all JD Outdoor channels.
  • Brief design team on brand pages, e-mails, and website banners for clothing and footwear partner brands.
  • Produce SEO-rich blog content and expert advice guides.
  • Monitor content performance, report insights, and continually improve the JD Outdoor content strategy and plans.
  • Collaborate with commercial/own brand teams to develop and execute content and marketing activities for own brand ranges, ensuring messages are delivered across all relevant channels.
  • Communicate campaign results.
  • Ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Achieve KPIs for content views and engagement.
