The Role
Join the Elite Driver Academy and serve your community with pride! We are assembling an elite team of bus drivers to connect people across Greater Manchester. As a key player, you’ll provide reliable transportation and excellent customer service.
Rates of Pay
- Upon successful completion of training: Monday‑Friday £12.71, Saturday £13.62, Sunday £14.86
- After one year of service or if you already hold a PCV licence: Monday‑Friday £15.51, Saturday £16.87, Sunday £17.58
Responsibilities
- Navigate buses safely through Greater Manchester’s routes.
- Deliver first‑class customer service and a friendly face to passengers.
- Act as a community ambassador and foster positive connections.
- Perform precise manoeuvres on challenging routes.
- Collaborate with fellow drivers and support staff to meet performance targets.
- Uphold professionalism, discipline and teamwork standards.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 3 points and right to work in the UK.
- Prior bus‑driving experience welcomed; newcomers considered.
- Positive, outgoing attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Passion for exceptional customer service on board.
- Ability to undergo training and acquire a PCV licence.
- Commitment to safety, punctuality and teamwork.
