Go North West is looking for a dynamic Staff Manager to help lead our operations function and provide the very best experiences for our customers and colleagues.
If you're a manager looking for a new challenge, or an experienced supervisor looking to move into a more senior role, this full time, permanent opportunity to join our team could be for you.
The position will be based at one of our Greater Manchester depots.

- Champion of excellent operational performance and high standards
- Safety-focused approach
- Willingness to step up (for example, deputise for the Operations Manager when required)
- This is a unique chance to work in a fast-paced environment at a time of exciting change in the Merseyside bus market with franchising just around the corner.
Knowledge and Experience Requirements:
- Proven experience at supervisory or management level within an operational environment, ideally within a unionised setting
- Experience supporting change initiatives, service mobilisation, or performance improvement activity across teams or sites
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence colleagues at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to deliver sustained high performance and drive continuous improvement
- Good working knowledge of relevant legislation, performance indicators, company procedures, and workforce agreements
- Confident using Microsoft Office and operational systems to produce clear reports, analyse data, and communicate effectively
- Experience building and maintaining positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including trade union representatives
