We are seeking a skilled 1st Fix Carpenter to join our modular construction team.

This role focuses on the structural phase of factory-based builds, installing core timber elements before final finishes.

The successful candidate will work within a controlled factory environment, contributing to high-quality, efficient off-site construction processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret and work from technical drawings, specifications, and cutting lists

• Install structural timber components including

  • Floor joists and decking systems
  • Wall framing and stud partitions
  • Roof trusses and structural supports
  • Fit door linings, window frames, and stair carcasses
  • Install sheathing, plywood, and structural boards
  • Ensure all work meets required tolerances and quality standards
  • Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
  • Collaborate with other trades (e. g., electricians, plumbers) during early-stage installations
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area in line with health & safety regulations
