The purpose of this role is to support the Logistics Manager while carrying out relative transport administrative duties and booking and scheduling daily transportation of printed goods.

Requirements:
  • Booking in of all deliveries in conjunction with transport companies.
  • Book all transport requirements ensuring optimum prices for all deliveries.
  • Create delivery details report daily.
  • Create Booking sheets for all Hauliers.
  • Create Transport sheet each day.
  • Ensure jobs are completed on Technique when PODs are returned when necessary.
  • Complete Matrix price and raise Purchase Orders for all transport, ensuring you have Manager sign off.
  • Cross reference with Job bags / Halo.
  • Raise Purchase Orders for orders required by Manager.
  • Chase and ensure delivery of all PODs to Account Executives, on time and in full.
  • Liaise with transport companies to ensure timely collection/deliveries to and from Go Inspire Eclipse.
  • Liaise with Account Managers.
  • Raise any Despatch Notes and any in an emergency.
  • Walk the floor daily at all plants to view work in progress and despatched goods when necessary.
  • Report weekly OTIF and reasons for any failures.
  • Report on all late arrivals/deliveries in weekly report.
  • Arrange all trailers in conjunction with transport companies to maximize early delivery and minimize storage costs.
  • Conduct handover with Night Shift Despatch when necessary.
Other Duties:
  • Weekly filing of truck maintenance sheets.
  • Weekly filing of cleaning sheets for both plants.
  • Weekly filing of Delivery note receipts.
  • Any other duties that may be necessary.
Miscellaneous:
  • Ensure ISO procedures are followed.
  • To promote the Company to the best of your ability.
  • To ensure that the Customer Charter is followed correctly.
  • Attend meetings and training sessions when required.
