Position: To support the day‑to‑day operations of the Finishing Department. You will play a key role in the production process by operating stitching machines to bind printed materials efficiently and accurately, requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions to ensure consistent quality in finished products. This is a full‑time, permanent night shift position.
Qualifications- Solid understanding of the saddle stitching process and formats
- Proven experience operating Heidelberg ST or Muller Saddle Stitcher (essential)
- Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills
- Mechanically minded with the ability to maintain machines to a high standard
- Capable of achieving top performance even with older equipment
- Reliable and punctual
- Produce quality products
- Achieve production target quantities and speeds
- Maximise machine uptime during your shift
- Complete all paperwork in line with Eclipse Standard Operating Procedures
- Perform quality checks according to Eclipse Standard Operating Procedures
- Report any anomalies or quality concerns to your Shift Supervisor or Department Manager
- Maintain a clean and organised work area in accordance with Eclipse Good Housekeeping Policies.
