A fantastic opportunity has become available for an ambitious individual to join our energetic and friendly Go Green Ireland team. This role supports customers, suppliers and operational activities across the Republic of Ireland. Applicants should have a strong understanding of Irish geography, including counties, towns, transport networks, to effectively coordinate services and manage customer requirements.
Supporting customers, suppliers and operational activities across the Republic of Ireland, you will play a key role in ensuring services are delivered efficiently, accurately, and to a high standard. This is a varied position that combines both customer service, administration, supplier coordination and operational support within a fast-paced environment.
Location & Working Arrangements
Our head office is based in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, and we offer flexible working arrangements to suit the successful candidate:
- The role can be office-based from our Doncaster office
- Fully remote or hybrid for candidates based in the Republic of Ireland
As the role supports customers and operations throughout Ireland, the ideal candidate will have an extensive knowledge of Irish geography, including counties, towns and regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for customer and supplier enquiries via telephone and email.
- Provide prompt, professional and accurate support to customers and suppliers.
- Understand customer requirements, pricing agreements and service instructions.
- Identify and effectively manage operational issues and customer concerns.
- Process supplier documentation and copy tickets.
- Maintain and manage shared inboxes, ensuring emails are actioned appropriately and on time.
- Organise and prioritise workloads to meet operational requirements.
- Resolve blocked tickets, disputes and service amendments within agreed timescales.
- Set up new customer sites and maintain accurate records.
- Support HASO bookings and associated administration.
- Process and upload quotations, ensuring all relevant information is accurately recorded.
- Manage customer requests, including bookings, ETAs, portal logins, waste pack requests and service queries.
- Support the ongoing organisation and maintenance of CRM systems.
- Carry out purchase order checks and other operational administration activities.
What we're looking for
Essentials
- Previous experience in an administration, customer service or operations support role.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confident using Microsoft Office applications and internal systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong customer service ethos and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of Irish geography, including counties, towns and major transport routes.
Desirable
- Knowledge of the waste management, environmental or logistics sector.
- Experience working with customers or suppliers across the Republic of Ireland.
