By connecting data with business priorities, you'll help identify opportunities, improve performance and create better experiences for our customers.
This is a highly collaborative role with visibility at senior leadership level.
You'll build strong relationships across Very, acting as a trusted partner and advocate for data-led decision making while ensuring the Data function remains closely connected to business needs.
About you
We're looking for an experienced data leader who combines strong technical understanding with commercial awareness and exceptional people leadership.
- Significant experience leading Data, Analytics or Business Intelligence functions
- Proven ability to develop and deliver a data strategy that supports business objectives
- Experience building, leading and developing high-performing teams
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior leadership level
- Experience translating complex data concepts into clear business outcomes
- Strong understanding of data governance, quality, security and best practice
- Experience leading large-scale data platforms, reporting or analytics capabilities
- A collaborative and pragmatic approach to problem solving
- Experience within retail, ecommerce, digital or consumer-focused businesses
- Exposure to cloud-based data technologies and modern data platforms
- Experience supporting AI, machine learning or advanced analytics initiatives
- Familiarity with data product or self-service analytics approaches
