This position reports directly to the Managing Director of DC Sales and is a highly technical, customer focused and self-motivated individual, providing expert technical support for Go!Foton personnel and its customers. The Solutions Architect is responsible for providing the Sales team with pre and post sales engineering support for Go!Foton new and existing AI DataCenter customers and service providers in the Hyperscaler, NeoCloud, Telecom, and MSO markets.

Responsibilities include:

  • Planning and designing fiber infrastructure to support the placement of servers, networking equipment, and storage devices in the DataCenter.
  • Producing a high volume of accurate cable length calculations for customers, often under aggressive timelines.
  • Managing and validating the overall volume, complexity, and time sensitivity of cable length generation required to support fast-moving client design cycles and bid schedules.
  • Creating blueprints for efficient data flow and accessibility.
  • Ensuring designs comply with building codes, regulations, and standards.
  • Creating and maintaining documentation for the DataCenter and supporting architectures.
  • Conducting performance testing and tuning to ensure optimal delivery of product.
  • Helping customers with their AI data center journey, including workflow pipelines and performance optimization.
  • Supporting sales activities for DataCenters with focus on AI DC cluster/pod architecture, cable/patch panel design, cable management design, integration, and installation.
  • Providing technical design expertise in partnership with Go!Foton service suppliers to ensure customer success.
  • Understanding different solutions trade-offs and proposing enterprise customers the best architecture and technical execution.

The ideal candidate will be capable of addressing all the previously mentioned technologies, speak to them professionally, plan for the implementation of these solutions, document the finalized deployment, and hand-off to the client in collaboration with the Sales Team.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science.
  • 5+ years of experience in low voltage cabling, structured cabling, or fiber infrastructure expertise.
  • Proven track record delivering large-scale data center infrastructure projects for hyperscale, Neocloud or enterprise customers.
  • Strong knowledge of BICSI, RCDD, and industry standards for structured cabling and fiber systems.
  • Strong background and extensive experience in using CAD/Bluebeam (or equivalent), elevations, cutsheets, and connectivity map documentation.
  • Ability to work independently with a remote team with minimal direction.
  • AI application experience is a plus.
